Breakfast
will be served starting at 8am
Pit Gates
will open at 8 am
Pill draw
for starting position in your heat race will end at 2:30pm.
If you arrive after that time you will go to the last
position in the first available heat race and you will not
be allowed any passing points.
There will
be a mandatory drivers meeting at 3:00pm in the paddock area
between the garage and the pit bleachers
There will
be a competition red at the first caution between laps 20
and 30 in the A main. You will be instructed to exit the
track and enter the paddock area. You will have 5 minutes
to service the car and driver. You can not replace anything
on your car! Do not attempt to replace a shock, radius rod,
torsion stop, tire, etc... You can remove any damaged
piece, such as a front wing, but you cannot replace it! The
only exception is wheel spacers, you will be allowed to add
spacers to the rear axle of your car. You can have as much
pit crew help as needed but the pit crew cannot enter the
paddock area until they are instructed to.
You must
be prestaged in your starting position for your race prior
to the end of the preceding race or you go to the rear of
your race and will receive no passing points up to your
original starting position.
There will
be Super 600 Showdown Tshirts, 600 Speedweek T-Shirts, LANCO
shirts and items, and Super 600 Showdown Program books
available.
The race
officials will be looking at two primary calls. First is
any intentional hitting of any race car. Punishment could
be black- flagged for that event to disbarment from any
future MicroRacing.com events. Second, you will notice that
LANCO has progressive banking, meaning the bottom is flat
while the top is steeply banked. If you are running the
bottom, you need to be aware that there will be someone
running the top and you need to let a racing groove for
them. If you have not cleared the topside car and run them
into the wall you will be black-flagged. This is your
warning! Most of the accidents that I have witnessed at
LANCO come from this scenario.
Do not
steal the directional signs to the track until after the
event. Bruce Buckwalter from BDB Graphics has donated the
signs for the event.
Delco
Signs has donated the Winners Check
Lindas
Speedway will allow any race team to camp in their spectator
parking lot on Fri nite. There is no water or electric
hookup available. If you arrive at LANCO Fri nite the pits
will be closed but you can park in the spectator parking
area. Be forewarned, if it has rained heavily on Fri do not
attempt to camp at LANCO in the spectator area! It can get
very muddy! ABSOLUTELY NO DRINKING OR NOISE!!!! Do not
ruin the generosity of Lindas or LANCO in making their
facility available.
Are you
the fastest computer racer? Dasah's Sprint Car Simulator
will be here!
You will
have 1 hot lap sessions, beginning at 3:30pm you will have your
hot lap session in the order of the heat race you are
participating in. If time permits we will look at another
hot-lap session.
There will
be a meeting with all A main participants prior to the A
Main.
All cars
will be weighed after their heat races.
Lanco has
a maximum width for the rear of 64", any width wheel can be
used. Their scale is set up to accommodate a 64" width,
make sure you fit on the scale before you race.
All A Main
cars will be weighed after the race.
There are
no alternates for any of the mains.
The
crossover method will be used for all complete restarts.
We will be
utilizing a cone for single file restarts along the
backstretch between the flag and the light pole.
As you
enter the pit gate, you will be instructed to have everyone
leave the vehicle but the driver. Have your trailer
unlocked for inspection. You will go to the pit shack and
buy your pit pass and then stay inside the pit area until
your rig pulls into the pit spot.
Alan
Shepherd will be presenting the invocation for the event
this year!
We are
looking for somebody to sing the National Anthem.
